Sex Offender Evaluation and Treatment
A needed treatment intervention being provided by Shepherd-Way is the evaluation and treatment of Juvenile and Adult sex offenders. We provide outpatient sex offender assessment, education, treatment, and supportive services to the consumer and their families. This comprehensive model of treatment is vital in preventing further victimization. The primary focus is to ensure community safety by eliminating or reducing the chances of the offender perpetrating again, in turn lowering community risks. Our sex offender outpatient treatment involves individual, group, and / or family therapy sessions depending on the presenting issues and individual or family needs. Input by collateral agencies such as the court system, probation and parole departments are also considered.
